So.. I'm Richard - and I hope you liked the Sailing Club site.

Basically .... the website is run using Joomla! an OpenSource Content Management System(CMS). The design is a customisation of a commercial template. It also uses some additional plugins, such as the Frontpage Slideshow.

As it's run on a CMS, the club can keep the site updated themselves. They can edit all pages, add news items, ads etc. - It's just a matter of logging into through an admin area, and adding/editing using a WYSIWYG editor. Couldn't be simpler!
